Klitschko Foundation's team took part in the annual WBC Congress, held in Hamburg, Germany.

As part of the event, the Foundation, led by its founder Wladimir Klitschko, once again reminded the world of the challenges Ukraine is currently facing and garnered support for new projects.

“More than 450 Ukrainian athletes died while defending their country, among them more than 40 boxers. I knew some of them personally. They are gone, but the fight continues. And this is more than a fight for territory - we are fighting for the future of our children and the entire free world. That is why today we, at Klitschko Foundation and #WeAreAllUkrainians, pay so much attention to projects related to children: their safety, comprehensive development and mental health support,” said Wladimir Klitschko during his speech at the WBC Gala Dinner.

He called on other champions, athletes and sports promoters to continue supporting Ukraine. In particular, at a special stand from the Klitschko Foundation and #WeAreAllUkrainians, visitors could buy a branded t-shirt from the Foundation for a donation.

One more reminder of Ukraine and the challenges facing young Ukrainians is as important as ever, according to Angelina Osadcha, CEO of Klitschko Foundation:

“We have no room for exhaustion or fatigue, because our Foundation cares about children - and their future is being decided today. The support, knowledge and opportunities we create for them right now will have a huge impact on the development of our country. That is why we will continue to use all possible platforms to unite the whole world around Ukraine and our children,” she says.

Klitschko Foundation, founded by Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko 21 years ago, aims to help talented children and youth fight for their dreams. During this time, the Foundation, with the support of international partners, has invested more than UAH 407 million in sports, education, environmental and other projects. The Foundation has helped 2.5 million young Ukrainians fight for their dreams.
