Today, Klitschko Foundation celebrates its 21st birthday! This is the age when you are mature enough to understand your responsibilities, but still young enough to dream without limits. It's a time for experimentation and at the same time for appreciating what you already have. This is the age when every day can be the beginning of something big and meaningful.

Throughout the years, we have created many incredible opportunities for young people who want to change the world for the better. Over the past year, our projects have brought together 1,864 teachers and 14,139 teenagers in five European countries. We donated 4,500 pieces of sports equipment to schools and provided humanitarian aid to hospitals and local volunteer centres worth €3.7 million.

Thanks to the Play for Equality project, 150 teachers gained new knowledge and 13,389 children demonstrated their sporting talents through local initiatives. As part of this project, schools received sports equipment that will improve physical education classes for 6 modules of the New Ukrainian School. 20 of the most successful teachers and their students took part in an innovative training programme at the Rukh football club in Vynnyky. The project partner was the UEFA Foundation for Children, to whom we are extremely grateful.

The Democracy Hub in Switzerland allowed 16 teenagers to visit the UN and discover new horizons of global democratic processes. We are grateful to our Swiss partners, the Hirschmann Stiftung, for their support in implementing this project. 48 teenagers learned how to engage a wide range of people in dialogue, listen and respect everyone during philosophical seminars at the Aspen Teens: Fight for UA Dream. The participants expressed their thoughts in an adult format and offered their ideas on what responsible leadership should look like in the course of Ukraine's further development. We thank The Aspen Institute Kyiv, which has been supporting the involvement of teenagers in the future of Ukraine for 7 years.

We all realised the importance of mental health when the full-scale invasion began. We immediately started preparing the Flourish project, which gave 26 teenagers the opportunity to learn how to deal with mental challenges and be resilient in the current environment. We also created an online course on the Impactum platform, which is available to anyone who wants to learn more about mental health. This story is a real canvas that was painted by many people. And it turned out to be a real masterpiece. The first line was drawn by a 10-year-old boy, Andres Valencia, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. 500 prints of his painting "Invasion of Ukraine" were sold all over the world, and all the proceeds went to the project.

The School of Resilience project in Germany taught 60 teenagers to see their future in Ukraine. They visited leading European companies: SAP and BASF, met with Members of the European Parliament and the mayor of Heidenberg. All this helped them understand how they can contribute to Ukraine's development. We are very grateful for the support of the SAP Solidarity Fund for funding and supporting the project.

Schools are the biggest place where children and adolescents spend the lion's share of their lives, and teachers are the only adults who are there to serve as examples and give guidance. As part of the Safe Learning project, 1,694 teachers and 200 school psychologists have been trained to improve their ability to provide psychological support to students, parents, and colleagues. This will help create a safe environment in schools where everyone can feel comfortable and learn more effectively. We were supported in this mission by the US Embassy in Ukraine and Bloomberg Philanthropies.

We started providing humanitarian aid on 24 February 2022 and this process is still ongoing. Over the past year alone, we have provided €3.7 million in aid to hospitals. We are sincerely grateful to our unwavering partners WeAreAllUkrainians and Ein Hertz fur Kinder for this. There is more to come.

We are immensely grateful to all participants and partners for their support and efforts that helped us achieve such impressive results. This birthday is not just a celebration of the Foundation, but our common achievement. We thank everyone who has been with us on this exciting journey. Together we create new opportunities and inspire great victories.

The most interesting things are yet to come! Keep on punching!
