Winners of the tournament 2017:
- Up to 49 kg: Alakheverodi Sakhil (Georgia)
- Up to 52 kg: Artur Bazeyan (Armenia)
- Up to 56 kg: Oleksandr Zelezniak (Ukraine)
- Up to 60 kg: Tuğrulhan Erdemir (Turkey)
- Up to 64 kg: Eryk Apresyan (Poland)
- Up to 69 kg: Dmytro Maydakov (Ukraine)
- Up to 75 kg: Denys Levchenko (Ukraine)
- Up to 81 kg: Yordanyan Artrijom (Georgia)
- Over 91 kg: Dmytro Galagan (Ukraine)
The best boxer of the tournament turned to be Yordanyan Artrijom (Georgia), who despite the defeat in the finals (up to 81 kg), was one of the most technical boxers in the tournament.
Each year around 150 youth take part in the event. This is where the boxing world first learned of future Olympic champions Vasily Lomachenko and Alexandr Usyk, world champion Yevgeny Khitrov, Olympic bronze winner Vyacheslav Glazkov, and many other leading athletes who are bringing new glories to Ukrainian sport. And that’s only the beginning!
Surprises happen more often that you imagine, you just have to look. Nothing is impossible when you want something with all your heart.
