Last autumn Ukraine rocked the world: for the first time for years of independence in our country was carried out Falling Walls Lab Kyiv 2015 - world-famous conference for young and talented scientists. Now we are expanding the boundaries!

This year Kyiv conference will be held on 29th September at Parkovy datacenter.

Format in Berlin:

• After one minute welcome speech of the recommending institution, start-up presents its case during 5 minutes. After that follows a two-minute discussion.
• The international jury will select the winner with the most convincing concept for Falling Walls Venture.
• Falling Walls Venture winners have a unique opportunity to present their idea to more than 700 people, who are participants of the Falling Walls Conference the next day, on 9 November.
• Leading scientists, venture capitalists have the opportunity to present their breakthrough ideas with commercial potential to the whole world.

To become a participation you have to fit following requirements:

• to be a generator of an idea and a founder of own business
• to have research publications in the prestigious Ukrainian or international printed matter
• ability to communicate in English at an Advanced level
• to be participant of an international research programs
• to have an obtained degree (at least PhD), received in Ukraine or abroad and/or to be a lecturer in Ukrainian or foreign universities,
• we welcome all the disciplines, including the informational and communicational technology, urbanism, engineering, agriculture, science, ecology, medicine, technology etc.
• to present an innovative final product, with a working mechanism that does not require rework and has a commercial potential
• the company must be established before the day of the conference
• have a desire to tell the international community your brilliant idea and come out with the project into a new level

There are no restrictions on age or gender!

Geography:

• the preliminary round of the scientific conference will be held in Kiev;
• on the second round the winners are going to present their projects in Berlin.
