Context

The youth all over the world are different due to their unique traditions and mentality. However, the challenges they face, as well as the issues that concern them, are certainly similar. Familiarity with the values ​​of peers from other countries can push them to change in their lives and society. This is what prompted us, together with the German foundation DFB-Stiftung Egidius Braun, to gather  creative and motivated youth who dream globally and are ready to act locally for a 5-day intensive.

Project mission

To make youth overcome obstacles and to face their challenges. Through educational sessions, participants will become more aware about the topics the world is facing right now.

Participants in the project

15 teenagers from Ukraine and 15 teenagers from Germany. Age of participants 16-17 years.

Requirements for participants

• To be a teenager aged 16-17.
• Knowledge of the English language at the B1 level.

Program

Програма проєкту є унікальною та побудована за методом Володимира Кличка «F.A.C.E. – the Challenge». Ось більш детальний розгляд складових методу:

F  — Focus — describes personal and collective meaning and vision;

A — Agility — considers taking initiative and planning our actions;

C — Coordination — addresses seeking synergies with others; 

E — Endurance — emphasizes a long-term implementation of positive action and cultivating a daily sense of gratitude and happiness.

On the project, one of the blocks of method «F.A.C.E. – the Challenge» is considered every day. 

Timing

August 24 - September 10: acceptance of questionnaires;

September 14: announcement of results;

September 25: departure of the participants to Berlin;

September 26 - September 29: training on the project;

September 30: participants leave for home;

October 1 - 15: implementation of post-projects;

October 15 - 30: reporting.
