Context

Teenagers all over the world are different due to their unique traditions and mentality. However, the challenges they face, as well as the issues that concern them, are certainly similar. Familiarity with the values ​​of peers from other countries can push them to change in their lives and the lives of society. This is what prompted us, together with the German foundation DFB-Stiftung Egidius Braun, to gather for a 6-day intensive creative and motivated teenagers who dream globally and are ready to act locally.

Project mission

Through intercultural exchange, teach adolescents to be socially active, to be critical of the world, and to become thinkers in local communities.

Who are the participants in the project?

Teenagers aged 14-16 from all over Ukraine.

During the project, participants:

- learn how they can take care of the planet and make changes in their society;

- get acquainted with the method of Wladimir Klitschko "F.A.C.E. the Challenge »;

- form their goals for the future;

- develop leadership skills and new environmental habits;

- practice English and German language skills.

Due to the spread of COVID-19, the project was suspended in 2020.

Financing

The project was funded in 2019 with the support of the German DFB-Egidius Braun Stiftung, as well as the Klitschko Foundation.

Project partner
The DFB-Stiftung Egidius Braun is a foundation of the German Football Association named after its president, Egidius Braun. In addition to stable support for sports, charity and social work. For example, for the Kharkiv Children's Hospital №6, the foundation has been purchasing the necessary equipment for several years in a row and helping to treat children with leukemia. The organization's motto is "Fußball - Mehr als ein 1: 0!" It means that football is more than just a game with a score.

Wladimir Klitschko's method is implemented thanks to Klitschko Ventures and the Competence Center for Intrapreneurship of the University of St. Gallen.
