We invite teenagers to participate in the online project — Realms of the Future 7.0!
Realms of the Future is a philosophical seminar for teenagers that will help participants develop critical and creative thinking skills, form goals for the future and determine their life path. The seminar is conducted by the Klitschko Foundation and the Aspen Institute in Kyiv.
In 2021, the project will take place on March 26-30 online through the Zoom application. All selected participants will receive emails with the results on February 26. The application form can be submitted until February 21.
At the philosophical seminar participants:
- will discuss topics that concern them: vocation in life, love, dignity, happiness, moral values, etc. Participants will receive a collection of materials in advance for preliminary acquaintance with the topics through classic philosophical texts and biographies of leaders;
- together with the moderators will conduct a dialogue, watch educational videos and films, analyze philosophical texts, consider practical tasks;
- meet with guests who will share their history of achievements and defeats, talk about the values and rules that guide life;
- will conduct their projects for peers, learn to communicate with stakeholders, the media, keep the pages of their project on social networks.
Who can participate?
We invite motivated teenagers aged 14-16, who study in the 10th grade, are ready to think outside the box, take responsibility for changes in society, and become a mouthpiece of progressive ideas.
Terms of participation
A prerequisite for participation is a local online project in your village or city. This is a project that graduates organize for at least 30 peers. During its implementation, adolescents apply the acquired knowledge and skills in practice and give young people in the regions the opportunity to join non-formal education. The Realms of the Future project manager coordinates the implementation of local projects, participants are provided with guidelines and advice on the project.
The selection criteria are:
- class of study (10th grade);
- age (14-16 years at the time of application);
- gender (10 girls and 10 boys) and geographical balance;
- high motivation of the participant.
Reasons for refusal to participate may be:
- incomplete 100% questionnaire;
- lack of video presentation;
- participation in previous sets of the project.
