Trust is the highest reward in charity. It cannot be bought, obtained by deception or chance. This is what you get when you go your own way, follow values, and honestly conduct activities that meet the principles of transparency and accountability.

For us at the Klitschko Foundation, trust is one of the most valuable indicators of success. Trust from young people, their parents, teachers, colleagues from other NGOs and COs, contractors, partners and donors - we have been building these relationships for years and continue to invest in them. But how?

Through constant communication. In life, we trust those we know well. Charity is the same - trust is built on constant communication. That is why it is so important for us to talk about what we do through the website, social networks, through graduates of our projects, through schools, other СOs and NGOs, partners - so we find like-minded people not only in Ukraine but also abroad!

Through accountability. We do not act at random, we do not make projects to do. For us, this is a complex process from idea development to implementation, and not the least role in this is played by reporting. Every year we conduct an independent audit and publish an annual report. This helps to increase public confidence in the activities, as everyone can check where their charitable contributions have been directed and what initiatives have been implemented. And this is a good confirmation of how the organization is developing from year to year.

Through transparency. Trust is built on honesty. Since the creation of this card in 2015, we have been taking our place on the Charity Map from the Ukrainian Forum of Philanthropists from year to year. The map is a tool that helps to find funds that publicly report on their activities, as well as helps to check COs and NGOs for transparency. For us, our beneficiaries and stakeholders, this is a good testament to the transparency of the Klitschko Foundation.
