Berlin Science Week. Public talk on social impact

Within the framework of the Berlin Science Week, the Klitschko Foundation which is the Ukrainian charitable organization holds Public Talk on Social Impact: Empowering to make difference. The primary goal of this new international meeting is to bring together different people from the world’s most innovative scientific institutions in Berlin. The conference will be dedicated to the dialogue between science and society. Its main task is to share trailblazing ideas, which will be later evaluated by the prominent experts. The event will revolve around keynotes, panels, curated debates, and product demonstrations presented by executives, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and innovative nonprofit professionals.

The conference will take place at the venue FORUM Factory, Besselstr. 13-14, 10969 Berlin on 7 November from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will consist of three main blocks. The first one is representing statistics in charity, the second one contains three lectures, representing charity and social impact from different perspectives, and the last one is a social promo showcase and its further discussion.

Among the speakers:

Thimo V. Schmitt Lord MBE, an innovation enthusiast and CEO at Bayer Foundations. He is interested in social innovations, impact investment and transfer of business excellence into the non-profit msector.
Dr.Christoph Kaletka, a senior researcher and member of the management board at Sozialforschungsstelle, central scientific unit of TU Dortmund University.
Alina Nosenko, the Director of the Klitschko Foundation, will deliver the speech on trends in charity.
